These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Better Ventures (We Are Participation). They govern your use of the We Are Participation website, products, and content (“Services”).
By using We Are Participation, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree to any of the Terms, you can’t use We Are Participation.
We can change these Terms at any time. We keep an historical record of all changes to our Terms of Service. If a change is material, we’ll let you know before they take effect. By using We Are Participation on or after that effective date, you agree to the new Terms. If you don’t agree to them, you should delete your account before they take effect, otherwise your use of the site and content will be subject to the new Terms.
You own the rights to the content you create and post on We Are Participation.
By contributing and posting content to We Are Participation, you give us a nonexclusive license to publish it on We Are Participation Services, including anything reasonably related to publishing it (like storing, displaying, reformatting, and distributing it). In consideration for We Are Participation granting you access to and use of the Services, you agree that We Are Participation may use your content to promote We Are Participation, including its products and content. We will never share or sell your content to third parties.
You’re responsible for the content you post. This means you assume all risks related to it, including someone else’s reliance on its accuracy, or claims relating to intellectual property or other legal rights.
You’re welcome to contribute and post content on We Are Participation that you’ve published elsewhere, as long as you have the rights you need to do so. By contributing and posting content to We Are Participation, you represent that doing so doesn’t conflict with any other agreement you’ve made.
By posting content you didn’t create to We Are Participation, you are representing that you have the right to do so. For example, you are posting a work that’s in the public domain.
We can remove any content you post for any reason.
You may share and promote content you have posted to We Are Participation on your own website, online profiles, and event displays for free as long as you are doing this for non-commercial reason
You can request that any of the editorial content, or any of your posts, or your account can be deleted at anytime. Processing the deletion may take a little time, but we’ll do it as quickly as possible. We may keep backup copies of your deleted post or account on our servers for up to 1 year after you delete it.
We reserve all rights in We Are Participation look and feel. Some parts of We Are Participation are licensed under third-party open source licenses. As for other parts of We Are Participation, you may not copy or adapt any portion of our code or visual design elements (including logos) without express written permission from Better Ventures.
You may not do, or try to do, the following: (1) access or tamper with non-public areas of the Services, our computer systems, or the systems of our technical providers; (2) access or search the Services by any means other than the currently available, published interfaces (e.g., APIs) that we provide; (3) forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or posting, or in any way use the Services to send altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information; or (4) interfere with, or disrupt, the access of any user, host, or network, including sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, mail-bombing the Services, or by scripting the creation of content or accounts in such a manner as to interfere with or create an undue burden on the Services.
Scraping the We Are Participation Services is prohibited.
We may change, terminate, or restrict access to any aspect of the service, at any time, without notice.
You may have to provide We Are Participation with certain personal information when using the Service. The personal information will be used only for the purpose of using the We Are Participation Service as described in these terms unless otherwise clearly stated and accepted by you.
The personal information we will be collecting when using the Service is:

gender,
E-mail address.
Any profile information you choose to provide (avatar image, bio, social network links, etc.)
By using the We Are Participation Service you also agree to have your contributions with your name made available to the We Are Participation movement members through the Service.
(i) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, that may be invasive of another’s right of privacy or publicity, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
(ii) impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to, a We Are Participation representative or agent (or an official, employee, representative or agent of Better Ventures), guide or host or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
(iii) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any User Generated Content that you do not have a right to transmit, under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as nondisclosure agreements);
(iv) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any User Content that contains a virus, corrupted data, Trojan horse, bot, keystroke logger, worm, time bomb, cancelbot or other computer programming routines that are intended to and/or actually damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or mine, scrape or expropriate any system, data or personal information;
(v) delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels that are related to the Platform;
(vi) use the comment and discussion systems in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users (e.g., excessive shouting (use of all caps), flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text);
(vii) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes” or any other form of solicitation;
(viii) intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, rule or regulation;
(ix) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any User Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;
(x) transmit or facilitate the transmission of any content to an e-mail address, messenger-feature address or other location that is not yours or to which you do not have the expressly authorized right to use without securing the prior authorization of such other person or entity;
(xi) harass, stalk, or threaten any other users of the Service;
(xii) participate in any action within the community which, in the sole judgment of Better Ventures, exploits or abuses an undocumented aspect of the Service in order to obtain an unfair advantage over other users of the Service;
(xiii) participate in any action within the Service which, in the sole judgment of Better Ventures, defrauds another user including, but not limited to, by scamming or social engineering;
(xiv) access or attempt to access any areas within the Platform that have not been made available to users;
(xv) register for or hold multiple accounts on the Platform simultaneously;
(xvi) circumvent or attempt to circumvent disciplinary measures taken against your account, including registering for or using a new account on the Service after being suspended or banned.
Better Ventures retains the right to suspend, terminate, or otherwise sanction your We Are Participation community membership if you violate these Community Rules of Conduct, as well as to take any other action required or permitted under any applicable laws.
We Are Participation is only for people 13 years old and over. By using We Are Participation, you affirm that you are over 13. If we learn someone under 13 is using We Are Participation, we’ll terminate their account.

Incorporated rules and policies
By using the Services, you agree to let We Are Participation collect and use information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. If you’re outside of Denmark, you consent to letting We Are Participation transfer, store, and process your information (including your personal information and content) in and out of Denmark.
By using We Are Participation, you agree to follow these Rules and Policies. If you don’t, we may remove content, or suspend or delete your account.
Disclaimer of warranty. We Are Participation provides the Services to you as is. You use them at your own risk and discretion. That means they don’t come with any warranty. None express, none implied. No implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, title or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability. We Are Participation won’t be liable to you for any damages that arise from your using the Services. This includes if the Services are hacked or unavailable. This includes all types of damages (indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary). And it includes all kinds of legal claims, such as breach of contract, breach of warranty, or any other loss.
No waiver. If We Are Participation doesn’t exercise a particular right under these Terms, that doesn’t waive it.
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, you agree that the court should try to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision and that other provisions of the Terms will remain in full effect.
Choice of law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by English law, without reference to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree that any suit arising from the Services must take place in a court located in London, England.
Entire agreement. These Terms (including any document incorporated by reference into them) are the whole agreement between We Are Participation and you concerning the Services.
